The staff was friendly and welcoming, providing helpful suggestions for nearby attractions. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and a hospital nearby. the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep.
The rooms lacked basic amenities such as breakfast tea and milk. The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, especially in certain rooms.

The Wi-Fi connection is quite fast. Hotel staff is friendly.
This was my second time at the Astor. This time I was at the third floor and the previous one at the first floor. The rooms are generally too small and squalid. Showers do not have curtains and the bathrooms are too small and uncomfortable. Stairs and corridors remind one star hotel '70s style. Everything is so sad.

Quite good transportation connection to the city centre. Friendly staff.
Small old fashioned room. However there is reconstruction ongoing which probably will change the situation. WiFi signal quite weak and unstable.

Pleasant decor, lovely perfume theme. Helpful, polite receptionists with good English. Upgraded room was beautifully decorated, clean, and had very comfortable beds. Spacious bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Convenient amenities like shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion provided. Complimentary tea, coffee, and water available.

The reception areas were modern and cheerful. The corridors and upstairs areas were dreadful and in need of modernisation. The hotel is poorly sound insulated and noisy at night.
The corridors and upstairs areas were dreadful and in need of modernisation. The hotel is poorly sound insulated and noisy at night. The stairs in the entrance are steep which would be awful for the elderly or disabled. There seems to be no central lounge area for people to relax in. Very basic indeed. The bedrooms are tiny and the bathrooms even smaller.

Worst hotel ever!!! Dont go!!!! 15 euros more and you can stay at a best western just few step forward. is not clean at all, is old, the trash of the entire building was just the other side of our window, so you can imagine the smell.

Make sure you stay in the single room with comfortable beds. They have a safe, a minibar, and iron and ironing board.

The warm welcome and helpful staff made our experience memorable. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the metro station and the local town. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The spacious bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle was a plus. The amenities provided, such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion. we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Mercure to anyone visiting the area.
